Tandy Lyons was once a small-town girl who used her library like a portal. Through books, she visited faraway places and went on grand adventures. She found there is no greater thrill than riding the rollercoaster of emotions that comes with a good book.

Now, she’s all grown up and her own imagination and daydreams are begging to be shared. She sees the Milky Way unroll before her and wonders who would step forward to protect those who’ve been displaced from Earth and thrown into a bustling, intimidating new reality. Strong alien men, tenacious human women, and Happily-Ever-Afters are Tandy’s specialty, and if you catch a few butterflies along the way, then she’ll flap her hands and eek in joy with you!

She lives in the dreadfully sunny state of Florida with her husband and cat. When she's not working her day-job or writing, she can be found snuggling with a good book or practicing her sewing, embroidery, or crochet skills.
